blip : Basic Living Instruction Protocol :

As Isaac has mentioned before, the Moveable Type blog had started to get an unwieldy amount of comment spam. Plus, it’s a rather complicated program for something that’s supposed to be easy (and WordPress does make it easy!). After trying out the new WordPress at work I was convinced it was time to switch. It was easier than I expected to import all the old posts, but we did lose some of the comments because there was so much comment spam that I nixed most of them.

Anyhow, here is the new and improved blip blog with many a feature to stop comment spam, and a new look to boot! The theme is connections, by Sadish and Patricia, but modified slightly. The title image was taken while on our trip in Costa Rica last year. And what happened to the old look, I hear some of you asking? Well, it’s still sitting in the old folder and maybe one of these days I’ll convert it so it works in WordPress. Right, some day
